David Fitzpatrick who quit for being named on board of another issuer for "" potential conflict "" created by his appointment was a big rod for Pinecrest : he was or he  is on board of 18 companies including Lone Pine, Kivacorp Petrol, Twin Buttle, Prime West, Shinning bank, Platform resource, Fairquest , Compton......

 

So being on so many boards, how being on  another one  may cause a potential conflict. ????

 May be he don't want his name associated with Pinecrest anymore ?

He was appointed president and CEO of LPR which definitely is a conflict.

He was appointed as interim CEO, so if Lone Pine and Pinecrest is doing business together that might be a conflict of interest.  Idk this is all just speculatory.  The CEO and CFO is pretty dumb if they bought half a million share knowing something is wrong.

Exactly, to me the recent $632,000 insider purchase is just a confirmation that the waterflood is responding as hoped or better. These guys have money, but that's not chump change.

There is a legal proceeding ongoing between LPR and PRY over the management of shared facilities. LPR sued PRY who have said, as per routine, that there is no case, and the exposure is no more than $5 million. Having said that, he could have reclused himself on issues between the two companies, so who knows perhaps there is something cooking between the two. Becker and Toews made their best case ...more
