NEW SUITOR ?

I change my mind , no new suitor will come in ..... It will be almost impossible to get a new bid because Goldcorp has the privilege to equal a higher bid !!!!! Ian Telfer just said it on ROB-TV ....

Does his comment rule out another suitor? On the one hand, he says that they do not expect another bidder. On the other hand, they have the right to make a matching bid. Sounds like they wouldn't be surprised if someone offered more. And, why wouldn't another company drive up the bid price to force Goldcorp to pay more? Just wishful thinking?? Maybe. PIB

monsieur46. I saw the ROBTV interview also, and I believe what Tiefer said is normal in any takeover. Of course if another bidder came in he would be allowed to up his bid. Can you name one takeover when it wasn't allowed? It caught my eye also when he said it, but I thought it was a funny answer because anybody can raise their bid if they want to. Made me also feel there could be another ...more
