lot of noise

The fundamentals have not changed. Production delayed, not missed. Production problems handled. The high level of transparency on this issue from the company at this time makes this an easy play.

The high level of transparency!! How come S/H's were not told about the lawsuit until 3rd quarter. We still don't know anything about the status, or the potential resolution. S/H's have to wait 3-4 months for production numbers and changes in the guidance. This management has an abysmal record of transparency and it goes back years.  Although I agree the fundamentals of this ...more

I certainly hope your speculation is right and we are staring a buyout in the face soon. Don't know about price range now though, as this team just does not seem interested in adding value. I am not sure reaching a certain production number is enough unless we are supported by some additional resource numbers: ie Raven. The sad part is if you are right, it is unlikely that the S/H's would ...more

I've only been in VGCX for just over a year, so i'm mostly looking at the current production issue that created the Q3 production setback, in terms of my assessment of transparency. Clearly I've touched a nerve ;) I think that on the conference call they provided a description that satisfied me. I don't know how many other screw ups there were in building the mine, but what ...more

Straight up LIAR.  As recently as this June, a few months ago, the Chairman Sean Harvey sold around $1 million dollars  of shares, Director Chris Hill sold nearly $800-900k of shares and oh yeah didn't insider Orion sell just a few shares ?  [url=https://ceo.ca/api/sedi?insider=&symbol=VGCX&date=&transaction=&amount=&undefined[company_symbol]=VGCX]Real ...more

Good post Human7.  A lot of greivances being aired after a large share price decline.  Maybe Festivus season :) I see a few complaints about the company not issuing monthly production updates.  I know of no other company that does this.  They do however issue monthly corporate updates although the last one embarrassingly shows an H2 forecast of 85,000 oz.  However now ...more

Bottom line the company was saved by high price gold as they have continually underperformed and over promised.  Do not get me wrong that is pretty typical of gold companies!

Those who did not sell when it hit 20 are fools.  As for the nonsense of 800 AISC they will never hit that number that was a given from the start!

You, me Orion, Osisko, Electrum, Sun Valley and quite a few others know that but OCD, MVargas and similar all thought sub $800 was a slam dunk.  And now they are relying on 'guidance' from management about being on easy street in a few months when the past several years of "guidance" was way off and always to the negative and bad side.  All the while they tell the ...more

Thanks MVargas. And I like your conservative but still decent forecast going forward. To me, there is only sideways or upside from here in the VGCX SP. Near term upside has to come from the overall gold market. Most gold stocks have slid lately, not just VGCX, with vaccine news hammering the POG. This happened to coincide somewhat with Victoria's bad news. When the dust settles people will ...more

dbbclb - Give it a rest - you've made your point ad nauseam.   The first post you made on this board was 2 months ago in spite of claiming to be a long time shareholder with a large share position with a pre-split price of $0.30.  If true, then you would have had to accumulate most of your shares over 5 years ago.  In that first post you claimed to have just spoken to the ...more
