the conference should bring useful information about the current situation as the full year financial statements will highlight the problems we had in the second half 2020. I hope the market won't overreact as I do not expect stellar results. But on the other hand expectations have been so lowered during the 2nd half that the market is expecting so much. Interesting to have the final full ...more

2020 Annual financials won't be great because of accumulated losses of $40 million through the first 9 months, $38 million of which were derivative losses due to call options. Since the price of gold didn't change much from Sept. 30 to Dec. 31, there shouldn't be much in the way of additional derivative losses in Q4 so Q4 financials with decent production should be pretty good.  ...more

Well now you understand what a few of us were saying during the summer when the share price was WAY too high at $20+.   Management was delaying releasing important financial numbers a really bad sign, a simple one project company blaming Covid meanwhile Newmont and others with highly complex stuff getting numbers out just fine. And the poor finance gadgets like the hedge and options ...more

It is not hard to hit guidance numbers when you set the bar super low.  Guidance  'we will run a 18 minute mile'    months later  " hey we ran a 14 minute mile"    Woweeeeee........market will yawn.  Again, you will never see sub $800 AISC that was a joke, we knew it.  They need to get that firmly in hand, they need to PROVE up massive ...more

Actually per the last NR, "Financial statements for the period ended December 31, 2020, are expected to be released on or about March 22, 2021". So I was expecting a NR yesterday.  Failure to issue a NR yesterday may have been a factor in stock price decline of over $1 in 2 days as maybe delay has been interpreted as not good news.  Although to be fair, the POG has weakened a ...more

I'm hoping we get an update on Eagle deep drilling.
Comment by Whateverrr on Mar 23, 2021 11:41pm
Huh ?  what are you talking about !!  They have been drilling for 15 days and expect to go to May.  What more can they possibly tell you 15 days in besides what pages 73-80 of the most recent presentation tells the public.  It happens to be  a very detailed extremely current playbook on deep drilling at the Eagle pit shell area and its objectives.

They said 'on or about" march 22nd....you think the stock went down $1 a share because it came out today the 23rd?   haha.  Funny bro.  The market fully expected them to 'hit' the lower bar guidance numbers.
