Pigs get fat, hogs get slaughtered.  Tough to break that mindset but......she might just pull back enough to tempt us back in.  Looking for new base in low 17's.  I am hoping for no news for a few weeks.  I am a tad greedy.  Would get another 5K share allotment.

It is the capitalization that matters and not the number of shares: 50M at $ 4 or 200M at $ 1, it's the same thing!

Normally the only reason for share buybacks is to increase the earnings/share.  Fewer shares = higher earnings/share = higher share price. Looks like a disgruntled shareholder that participated in the Orion $17/share placement is opting to get out at a small profit rather than be a part of the ambulance chaser's legal gambit.  I'd expect $17 to be support.

I got in before the close today and bought more. It should be a very exciting, tumultuous 2nd half of the year with lots of ups and downs. The basic story remains in place and this stock is ready for a ride.  Good news will be amplified and poor news will get some shareholders anxious. Hold and watch because trying to time this fluid scenario will be difficult until a solid picture develops ...more

You don't say!  There was NO share cross executed by Scotia Capital at the close and NOBODY took an $8 million position at 4PM today. Scotia's relentless selling began at the opening bell and continued unabated throughout the entire trading day which culminated at the 4PM close with a final dumping of 283,000 shares at $16.94.  There were a total of 107 trades at 4PM from Scotia ...more

So you are saying that 283000 shares at the close being sold all at the same price is not a planned transaction. A move of that size would affect a price change unless you have a party on the other end willing to accept that much stock at a set price. That much stock would cause a price fluctuation if it was just being bought up by the market. No bid was on the board by the open market to buy 300k ...more
