Undervalued

Today is a buying opportunity for both stocks. After a fair bit of dd and today's drop in sp for both Victoria and cde I am adding to my position in Victoria and starting a small position in Coeur. A little contrarian thinking however I do believe both are undervalued after my research.

Exciting times ahead

Can you be asked how much you estimate the fair price of CDE and how you arrive at this calculation? Do you take into account the reserves, the cash flow, the profits, the NPV of the mines?

I also loaded up more after disposing of some other stock.  I can say that short activity was exceptionally large for the last two weeks.  I do not have a number yet as what was still out there shorted.  There were several bank sites down today and that may have also influenced some bailing.  This is a steal in the 18's.  Thanks.

I spent some time after Slammer started posting to try to grasp a bigger picture of what was happening and who Coeur really was. My largest gold positions currently are in Victoria, which I originally purchased at 20 cents or so years ago and Banyan Gold which I began purchasing at 12 cents a number of months ago. The more I read about the research, mapping etc that Clynt from Alexco had done for ...more

Thank you for your answer. I have been CDE for years and find your valuation at $ 12.5-13 to be reasonable. I believe that CDE is worth and above all will want in the future primarily for its reserves and resources. In this regard, the latest exploration results for Silvertip and Crown are very interesting. Unfortunately, it must be recognized that CDE management has sometimes disappointed ...more

I agree 100% just want the results to be published for the sceptics. I also agree that 3-1 Coeur per Victoria share would be a minimum however I expect other interested parties to outbid. It has to be well over $30 ,in my opinion, for a successful takeover. Does anyone know what vgcx owns of byn? How a possible takeover of vgcx might affect byn? merrill lynch 3 mil share purchase at last few ...more

3-1  would value VGCX at 35-40$.I just can't imagine Coeur would be willing to endure that much dilution. Maybe someone with deeper pockets would though. Keep in mind that VGCX was trading at $13-$14 when Coeur accumulated its position. We all know it was undervalued at that price, but a CDE bid would likely value it at an average price of the last 30 days. Not trying to sound like a wet ...more
