In all scenarios Orion is taken care of

...they aligned with Coeur behind the scenes in the first place and that must be because they want to exit. Mission accomplished as far as they're concerned. They financed the build of the mine, that's what they do.

Human7, I believe Orion is not happy because McConnell r3fus3s to pay a meaningful dividend and McConnell is more concerned about BYN then Vgcx shareholders. By 12.31, the revolver should be nearly paid down. Sustaining capital about 45 million and there is no dividend but there is monies to invest in Byn? What the @huck is going on? Vgcx's other bank debt is paid off in two years and the ...more

RdlBama I don't think Orion wants a dividend, I thought they were a financer not a long player. If the sale doesn't go through my guess is Victoria will pay a dividend. McConnell was talking it late last year before the whole orion/coeur push came into play. What's missing in Coeur taking them out at 22ish, is a compelling reason for Victoria to sell at that price. Can they be forced ...more

If Cour goes hostile and offers 22 a share, I think alot of people would sellout. I have lost faith in McConnell. After 10.31, Cour does not have to pay the Orion fee. I think today was the start of the fireworks!

OCB1234, But is the path forward for a higher stock price? That is what McConnell is sorely missing. Is it as simple a being bank for his wife's venture? When I pull up this board page, I see Victoria Mines 200k oz producer with an AISC of $800. Vgcx is not on the radar screen with those goals.

OCB1234, I think that by 2023 Vgcx should be doing 250k in oz because the stacking on a yearly basis and the screening project should be completed by late fall 2022. I think that it is ok to bash Krebs; but McConnell does not present his vision to increase Vgcx's stock price. A CEO's rating is based on stock performance. Where would Vgcx's stock be if it was not for all of the takeover ...more

Bama...I think he will be unable to continue to buy into Banyan without a clear plan about what is ahead.  Do I think there is malfeasance?  No, but it is no longer acceptable to fund BYN without a dividend and a clear plan on what VGCX plan's for moving forward with Banyan are.  If VGCX is moving forward alone, they could justify moving on Banyan when and if BYN does the ground ...more

IMO would be a smart move to find Banyan with the resource they are proving up. Who cares about the small divedend that could be provided. Victoria Gold already trading at $18.00. &22.00 next/soon. Fadt:)

Fast, do you realize what an .80 dividend would do to the stock price?  Paid semi annually in .40 installments.  Still leaves money for exploration and the screen plant.  WE would be in the $20's for fun.  Anyone with 10,000 shares adds $8,000 to the wallet.  5,000 shares $4K.  Even smaller retail folks who have $1500 get over $1K.  It would attract a whole ...more

Kegman, I would not be opposed to fund BYN but is to be transparent,ie, set up an intercompany account between vgcx and byn. Whenever the account is transacted, 20% interest starts accruing monthly. The most that byn can drawdown yearly would be 40 million. The interest keeps accruing till byn has a commissioned mine. The loan is repaid over 4 years. If byn defaults, vgcx gets the mine. But ...more

That is purely on takeover rumors. The stock would be lower if the rumors are taken out of the equation.

The Victoria BOD will reject it out of hand. They might bite on $25, but not anything below.  [/quote] There he goes again projecting what the Board will do as long as it fits his parameters.. TICK TOCK-TICK TOCK.
