Latest Crux Investor Interview with John McConnell

I just watched the latest Crux Investor Interview with John McConnell.  It is available here:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=at8k5tZDRKM&ab_channel=CruxInvestor

A few notable items:
  • Orion has completely sold all of its Victoria shares - the last of which were to Sprott and Franklin
  • With the exception of a 5-week maintenance period, stacking will continue through Q1 of 2022
  • More Eagle drilling is currently underway; a resource and technical update will be issued by the end of 2022
  • 50% of the assays have been received from Raven with the balance expected to be received by the end of March; no talk of releasing any of the drill results received.
  • Commissioning of equipment installed for scalping of fines will take place in Aug/Sept
  • Victoria is requesting propsals for a firm to set up an assay lab in Mayo for the exclusive use of Victoria and Banyan.

Thanks for that summary of points made.  Would just add that he also expects to pay down some more debt this year. Overall, a steady as she goes news story. Expresses no interest in being acquired. If anything it's about growing into "the district."  The dividend idea mentioned last year feels like it's on the back burner for now, with project 250, expanded drilling ...more

Simplistic considerations! You should study the subject a little more and you would know that Kensington, Rochester, Warf in particular are the opposite of a failure and that Sivertip has enormous potential, but it is true that it was bought too expensive just like La Preciosa which has just been sold at a loss! You lack nuance, totally negative for CDE and totally positive for Victoria, while ...more

That is why CDE is an interesting takeover target.  I do not think shareholders will argue either.  There are leaders that have certain traits and are good for different stages of a company.  Krebs has been a poor steward.  John has brought us to this point.  I think we need a different skill set now.  Nothing personal, he can move on to BYN and help build their mine ...more
