There has to be an issue with production for the share price to be going the downward way. if anyone has any better ideas let me know

A simplistic response, but momuntum is a huge factor in stock price direction - both up and down and for VGCX the momuntum is currently down.  With the POG looking to crack $2,000 again, the price action on VGCX doesn't lend itself to anyone looking to invest in gold equities to take a position.  If you are a shareholder, it is tough to miss out on the increasing price of gold and ...more

Good summary of the situation. Difficult to know if at 20CAD for Victoria, CDE would choose to collect 220M from the sale of its 11M. of shares or would still be interested in a takeover which would require financing of +- 1000M, almost as much as its current capitalization (hence the intention to ask shareholders for authorization to double its number of shares? ) . If the large investors decide they have had enough John does not control the end result. I would think there are a lot of big hitters growling right now. John is there until they decide otherwise. I think a shuffling of job titles could and should be in our future.
