Why ATAC chose Hecla

I understand the main reason ATAC accepted Hecla's offer a few months back  was ATAC's CEO got to run an ATAC spinoff. VGCX did not include that as part of its offer.

At the time the Hecla offer including the value of the spinoff was about 50% higher.

Looking at it from their side....would you want John running your show?  In house relationship with BYN and the continued issues at eagle.  Stock price in the doldrums....market sentiment openly not on board with VGCX....John needs to get his own house in order.  With your thinking OBWON....why hasn't anyone swooped in at these levels?  Value of gold in ground is far more ...more

From what I understand Downs wanted to go with Victoria, despite the lower bid, but Victoria was unwilling to offer him the Cascadia deal. Regarding Eagle, let's see what the Q2 Financials look like to determine whether or not Eagle is back on track. By the way, Kegger, I've seen shorts on this board with more positive posts than yours. You might want to consider bailing. No worries ...more

Just being realistic.  The issue is not the property but the execution.  I CAN wait but I do not want to wait.  I think a coaching change is needed, that's all.  Don't throw away the baby with the bath water!  I think most retailers have the same mindset.  I have traded this but the core is still there.  Thus with all the money I have sitting here....I ...more

I totally understand and am tired of waiting, as well. If Eagle is truly back on track, and this year will determine that, then I'm going the distance here. On the other hand, if we once again see issues with execution at that mine, even for one of the remaining three quarters, I highly doubt I'll still be a shareholder come next year.
