Probably hasn't occured to JM that, apart from buying a few shares on the cheap, it would be seen as a vote of confidence in the company. Maybe he needs for HB to make that suggestion to him and then he might think it's a good idea :)

Perhaps management is under a trading blackout period while they are negotiating a sale of the company.

A substantial insider buy would be very helpful right now. Without that though we are at the mercy of US unemployment claims at 8:30 which will likely decide the direction of gold for the day and if gold can rally I would expect us to do the same and vice versa. Just my opinion. Good luck to everyone.

AISC is an issue but with Gold at $2600 Cdn...there is still a great margin.  Assuming no fires in area next year we should be 180-190 ozs, That lowers AISC...every 100 ozs counts!   I still think we can get to 170K ozs this year.  We were not shut down that long and they were still pouring during that time.  That is why a nice update on how they plan on making up the ...more

Increased fuel costs, increased interest costs, and increased labor costs are making it tough, especially  on the less than 1 gram per tonne gold producers.
