Are the shorts relenting?

Does anyone have access to the American exchange short total? They can can be very different than the CDn total.

It appears the shorts are relenting for now, but probably not for long. According to FINTEL, the number of VGCX shares available for shorting has noticeably increased just in these past few days from what used to be an average of about 450K shares (for the past several months), but since the start of this week went to 950K, and is now at 1,200,000 shares. And the company knows who is doing this too. Retailers get hit again....news at 11. I have to think a few of the funds aren't tpp happy either.

Our daily share trading average volume is too low, making it too easy to control so it doesn't matter if VG management knows who is playing the stock or not. Case in point, this morning shortly after open there was a 52K block of shares on the bid at $6.16 that never filled because the stock was already trading around 6.25 to 6.30 and the time. Agreed. Fake bids galore on this stock. Price manipulation pre open is hysterical some days. I saw that and wondered what was up. Cross? No, just another game. How can we be down today? Unbelievable. To play this you need a huge angle as there just are not enough shares to get in and out without help. Can you imagine if there was a short covering ...more

Here's some links from FINTEL regarding VGCX share ownership. What I find so intriguing is the number and variety of institutional owners (large and small) of VGCX shares and I ask myself why would they be invested in VG unless they saw value and potential in this company worthy of their investment dollars when there's so many other gold companies to invest in?
