He was at $24 last year.  WEnt down to $14 I think in winter and has been going up again.  Not much of an analyst.  More of a schrill.  Bottomline if we had a real team it would be $10 right now.  Full disclosure...sold some today at $7.60.   I still have too much but am in the green here.  Whatever was right alot.  Board witheld the numbers until after ...more

$19 is very conservative for Victoria 12 months out. our AISC expected to drop under $1400 next year. I believe Gold will be north of $3,000.
Comment by kegman on May 16, 2024 3:20pm
There is no chance AISC is that low.  Gold at $3400 CDN and AISC at $2150 Cdn is doable.  Math is good but can we trust them? Honestly ,why hasn't someone moved on VGCX by now?  Take out at $10 would be gravy for all the shares churned below $8.  Still get the mine if you stay with new entity.  Something just does not make sence.  Regardless, 2 years payout at ...more

And speaking of JM's pay and bonuses, sure wish I'd seen this before the AGM and wish I had Sean Harvey's e-mail address because I'd love to send this to him.  Sean mentioned at the meeting how Victoria's Executive pay was still below the industry average and how they need to get that up and more in line with the industry average in order to retain and attract quality ...more

If Muddy Waters believes the Mayfair Gold board compensation is excessive, they better not look at the VGCX board and executive compensation. COMPANY NEWS Muddy Waters will not compensate its nominees on Canadian miner Mayfair as shareholder vote looms 05/16/24 - 04:42 PM ET - Reuters By Divya Rajagopal TORONTO, May 16 (Reuters) - Short seller Muddy Waters Capital said on Thursday that none of ...more

Yup.  I am thinking the end is near and the golden parachute is now ready to go.  This will hit $10 in spite of them.   They will blow too much cash to get to $15 HB.  Maybe gold at $3k US.

Not enough insider buying yet Kegman to signal a buyout is in the works.  Don't you worry, Sean Harvey will be loading up when that's about to happen.  I was just checking out his insider trades on CEO.ca  since 2020 and he has made a pile of cash (over $3 million) on his stock.  Usually dumps a bunch in April each year but not this year... at least YET so maybe he sees ...more

True. This is the public corporation. A parade of pompous aholes who take the liberty of lining thier pockets as best they can. I've worked for public and for private companies. No comparison.  I like fortuna silver for this reason. Mr Ganoza the founder and CEO doesn't fool around. Only about 25% of executive pay is a given. The remaining 75% or so is only paid to them if the company ...more
