To be honest I don't like the fact that this is happening before the company has briefed shareholders. Raises red flag to me! Is the company even involved? I mean a technical briefing by who and for who? I also don't like that some people may have this info ahead of others as it could move the share price in a big way while others are in the dark and trying to figure out how to ...more

Probably will be a Government representative on hand that in a nutshell will state that until the cause of this failure is determined and an environmental assessment of the site is completed the mine will be shut down indefinitely.

Well Crazytimes, the way I see this is that this morning's technical briefing has two main purposes: 1.) To foster Yukon citizen's confidence and assure them that the Yukon governent and its Mines and Resources experts are all over this and are fully in charge of this incident and NOT Victoria Gold management. 2.) HB.. the only thing that bothers me is the word "technical?" To me that implies engineers findings etc.... who I can't see going on the record at a press conference without being sure due to liability about making a false statement at this point, but I could be wrong considering what has happened to the word science recently. lol. Just my opinion.
