Containment dams were built at the mine site after the slide happened on Monday. (Yukon government)


They said there were no serious injuries,

An interesting observation and remark by the head of major mines for the Yukon government,   Those dams "appear to have contained any solution" on site Excerpt from this CBC news article: Government officials say Victoria Gold, which owns and operates the mine, built two containment dams immediately after the slide.  Buy what I see from the pictures, the collapse occured at the low point where the pregnant solution was bring collected and subsequently sent by piping to the pond and then to the gold recovery facility.( they are all right there under the point of the failure ) It appears to me that being more or less in the line of fire of the millions ot tons of material pouring down on top of it ...more

Strong sell.... extremely massive debt snd now probably the biggest fail in Canadian mining history... not worth a spec buy at .20 cents which is the true value
