That is a whole lot of cyanide beyond containment. Their geotech consultant gave some informed estimates based on 14% wet and 8% drained crush moisture content. And that is on 2mil tons that left containment. That plume of CN and dissolved metals will clearly migrate somewhere. And then he said crush on the pad is also leaching off the pad...

i believe his number was 300,000 cubic meters - he did not say of what exactly - ie of CN or if CN solution at x percent.
