so its about time the company publicly stands up for itself if alternative facts are being relied on by CBC, and if they are infact true, the company should be informing its shareholders long before we have to watch it on the evening news.

Were traces of cyanide found in watersheds outside the mine site or not?  This is not a complicated question to answer.

It is a reasonable expection that there will be contamination on site due to the slide, but that will be remediated once material is relocated, but do they have a containment prevention plan in place in the event of rain.

Mdj, why are you surprised that they are not informing retail shareholders?? They have NEVER done that before. We find out about everything after the fact, whether it's flow through financing, or problems with production.  I can guarantee you that institutional investors are well informed, just look at the trading prior to their announcement yesterday. Swing, unfortunately execs across the board are woefully disrespectful and unapoligetic when it comes to retail shareholders. In fact, I can only recall a couple corporations in the past 40 years of trading that actually kept shareholders in the loop within a reasonable timeframe. My comment is further to the title of this post and not the content.  Of course Victroria Gold is getting crucified on CBC Televised News.  70% of CBC's revenue comes from the Liberal Government and anyone living in Canada knows the Liberal's agenda when it comes to Climate Change, Environmental issues, and First Nations.  Does anyone think it's a coincide that CBC led ...more
