Some interesting info today from the briefing
None of the security bond has been drawn on to date
Vic Gold doing the work on site to date taking action along with inspectors direction.
All but one directive from Yukon Government recieved on time, extension until tommorrow given for remaining directive which involves stabilization.
Machinery still should not go on HLP

And water samples taken 2 kms downstream in Haggert Creek showed no sign of cyanide. More testing will continue in the coming days / weeks. HB77

there was a halt last week;this pop up will be short lived,mamagement has been dishonnest.

The security bond is only drawn on in the condition the gov has to take control and clean up the mess. I suspect this would only happen if the company becomes insolvent.

gimmeabreak1, the gal at the briefing explained it a little differently. If VG fell behind in their duties as expected by the Yukon Government, they ould have their own folks step in and the security bond would be used. Nothing mentioned about insolvency.
