Yukon and Water Board are Not Messing around,

The Yukon govt and the Water board are not messing around, anyone that thinks this issue is light and easy/quick fix, still a month in after seeing plenty is just blind.

Let me see if I can link to  PDF file on my computer to read Water Board report July 20th.

Read Item #5 !!!  Sounds like VG is not able or willing to even build the required LINED water storage of a certain capacity.  They built it FAR smaller then required AND with ZERO LINER.  WTH is up with VG  ?

Did one better Whateverrr.  I listened to the 1 hour breifing from start to finish this morning as the amount of sensationalism and misleading commentary from the reporters is nothing short f criminal The additional liner is not yet completed, so I would expect the liners would be the last step prior to starting solution storage.

Got it, so you say the report I linked to via govt, PDF, was not accurate.  I guess VG can easily work some defamation lawsuits based on your opinion of damages completely false reporting about VG.  Maybe that can help fund the cleanup if the lawsuit could be fastracked in 45 days....haha.

Again, listen to the briefing. That directive you posted was issued days ago, and when reporters asked about those directives, the "experts" sitting on the panel were looking at each other like deer in the headlights. At least they were honest and said they really dont know what or how VGs plan is working using the Gold Recovery circuit for filtering. Not so sure even the folks at ...more

Some of the stuff on this board is really confusing!  Optimum leaching is not 45 days to be clear no one has optimum leaching at 45 days.  Leaching is typically 45-90 days with optimum at 90.  Highest leaching often occurs at 120 days but the gain from 90-120 is often very low hence not optimum.   As far as a liner.  The liner always goes first.  Imagine ...more

abreak1. I will certainly say the entire situation since the 24th last month defies comprehention i recent memory. As for ccaa there are many permutations that can be realized.  In this case JM and co could end up with a condition of repeated frustration. However the 104m is used  i beleive mentioned they have dipped into or will dip into it? I dont know about you but I hsave never ...more

gimmeabreak, I assume the majority of your post was directed my way, so here goes. With regards to leaching, this was taken directly from VGs disclosure. "The flowrate of barren solution is based on a 45-day primary leach cycle and a secondary leach cycle of additional 45-days assuming an application rate of 7-10 l/h/m2 and a lift height of 10 m." As that initial 45 day cycle occured ...more

Mr Brown  You are now getting closer!  If you look at VT original FS it will give you an idea of recovery rates in a H/L.  Sort of like the law of diminishing returns.  Can't recall the exact number but generally speaking the first 50% is recovered in the first 45 days or so then the next 45 maybe another 25% balance to 120 days.  These are just general numbers as they ...more

Draw your own conclusion vs MJDCBROWN. just click the PDF link I kindly shared in my post below to read exactly what the govt said a few days ago in clear and concise manner in what they found, what was not adequate and what they would do if not corrected or completed.
