jbrown, Thanks Any thoughts on when that may be released and cut off sate? Best

Husky, VG's Q2 filings are usually reported in the second week of August, however it would not surprise me to see a request for extension of filing their interim financials due to the unforseen slide even though it happened 6 days before the applicable quarter's end date. VG staying in the good graces of the TSX will be a good indicator going forward.

jbrown, Thanks for the update and timeline. Yes on not being delisted and in the good graces, I believe they have minimum share value. Going forward Pelly and Hecla will provide  a positive twist, both are companies that are well known. Peyly has some really BIG equipment and Hecla has the chops to bring a lot to bear.  Pelly knows the Eagle well, incl the HLP.  Their involvment ...more

I'm sure it won't go unnoticed by VG when Hecla shows up and I'm betting it will be more than just the machine operators from Hecla on site.

Rack, :) Pelly is no slouch either.  :) Its all good. Best

Hecla's been on an acquisition spree lately, ie Klondex in 2021, Alexco in 2022 and ATAC last year, so getting Eagle on the cheap would be quite a coup for them.

Yes Very true and on keno hill they have done everthing asked of them by FN and YtG and EMR. :) BEST

Yup.  Getting Hecla to the site seems like a veiled threat by YTG et al to get Victoria Gold to either get it together or loose the right to mine the property.  It's  pushback from the government after VG blew off their requests.

rack,  totally right. :) The fracus over the addional bonding(court)  and the previous slides and infractions would have made things difficult.  Especially of there was an uncooperative co. It might be a small Territory but it is "The Yukon" "Larger than Life"  :) best

OCB, Hecla also knows their way around being fined by the YTG and US EPA for environmental infractions https://www.mining.com/heclas-yukon-unit-fined-c100000-for-environmental-risks/#:~:text=In%20June%202023%2C%20Hecla%20was,%24143%2C124%20fine%20as%20a%20result.

Very interesting.  I wonder what the relationship and history is with Ms Boggs and YTG
Comment by HuskySW on Jul 28, 2024 9:48pm
Try Mr Baker, he was at the forefront of Keno Hill during the AXU situation. Ms Boggs is highly talented and was/is on the board. She was CEO apparent  (sucession planning) should anything happen to Mr. Baker. Mr Baker was CEO for 20 years. Best
Comment by HuskySW on Jul 28, 2024 9:45pm
Yes and in the end the CEO  Mr Baker manned up and resigned for the good of the company to get rid of the Montana issue. keno Hill some bags of copper sulphate and "oil stains" and a pond issue.  Some of this was left over from previous workings. I beleive they are not perfect but I doo believe from what I see, they man up, pay the fines and fix the "pollution" ...more
