Victoria Gold Corp > "Bad Actors" in the Yukon are now on the loose.

"Bad Actors" in the Yukon are now on the loose.

YTG - needs to pull the reigns on that one

YTG needs to settle down and tone it down a bit.  people and Companies are all of a sudden "Bad Actors"  for being even associated with an "unlikely event".  When in the Great White North did that start?

All the personalities aside, ust becase JM and co are not jumping to YTG, EMR and Fn directives fast enough does not make them bad actors.

What it creates is even more stress and time taken away from doing the actual work, ie: damage control.

If I had world class third party engineers on my team I wouldn't jump to any demands for pokin holes & water sampling while the solution is still contageous and flowing.

I guess I would be the bad one because I'd get kick off the claim and get yanked to jail for trying to do damage control.

Well that would play out in court like a travesty, in fact if things get worse I would say "But judge I was In jail" and I was estopped from trying to do my job and run my team.

How is the freak is that going to help.  All you get is data for the databases will the pollution runs unabated.

You want international headlines well that's the way to get worlwide coverage.  I can see the headlines now.

CEO gets dragged of to jail for trying to do damage control on his mine that had the"unlikely event" as stated by the engineers and designers who were in control during construction.

WOW, sure everyone is fried that the HLP collapsed but unless there are charges that c-suite and BOD did sht unbecoming that's a dead end.

Leave the remediation team alone.  If there are third parties involved great, just get sht fixed and move on.

in my opinion

Best

You should really stop using the "unlikely event" comment...you look like a fool every time you type that.

The same as VG referring to this as " the incident " The company gets destroyed, shareholders get wiped out, environmental damage.  That's an incident alright.

ooner, it's not MY comment LOL You're joking right. The HLF FMEA identified a range of failure modes over the major HLF components which, during construction and operations, are mitigated by standard engineering and design practices. However, planning for emergency response in the unlikely event that these failure modes are experienced is a key proactive management tool. In addition to ...more

you repeat a lie enough...it becomes your lie.... unforuntately, this unlikely event wasn't so unlikely in reality....too bad it wasn't as unlikely as Jim Carey in Dumb and Dumber "....so you're telling me theres a chance...."

you'd have to have watched Dumb and Dumber movie to understand that definition of an unlikely event (ie - 1 in a million...of which Jim Carrey says, "so you mean there's a chance".) Seriously, i have no idea what an "unlikely event really means". I mean give me some statistics to help understand that...and how does it interact with if Victoria managemnet doing things ...more

Ooner Your missing the point. Curently Casino with the HLP is on a lot of peoples radar. YTG, EMR, FN are going to have that HLP on laser focus.  Who knows what they will say.  FN is probably not on board. I haven't time to look at casinos disaster mitigation plan. Perhaps you could look, its possible they have something lime thzt. They are also aware of all the proponents ...more

And you're not getting my multiple points...with the key one just repeated below. It is crystal clear in all the communication I've read...the govt , the FNs , and Yukoners want mining companies who are going to be capable of cleaning up whatever (as you like to say---unlikely events) happen at the mines they operate....not leaving this for the government. ok---so how many operating ...more

I am going to say this ONE last time, your poiint of view needs to be discussed with YTG, EMR, FN, ENG. and ALL stakeholders.  Your mine(s)  is in env. review and regardless of your feelings the ENV review will happen in light of recent Yuukon "incidents".  I have no influence. The Premier and Staff have made ir abundantly clear that new rules and regulations are ...more
