badger, I agree with your thoughts on the shifting,etc.  From what I can see VG completed or was working on any recommended remediation on the reports.  Nothing in the inspections pointed towards an imminent failure from the inspections. What continues to bother me is that it was noted that one of the peizosensors was off-line.  Then there was a comment that the design was such

Well Husky, I'm no peizo sensor expert but I'd like to think that there is a lot more than one piezo sensor on the entire HLF.  And if one going off line was so important then I'm pretty sure  there would need to be a way for it to be readily replaced or if not, a dual or a triple back-up piezo sensors installed at each point (required by EMR rules / legislation as part of
