I have a long career in insurance. The first rule is to never admit fault. VG passes that. JM and his crew could never admit fault and played the game of clean up. They have done it by the book knowing if they gave up they would be culpable. They have spent a lot of the remaining cash on lawyers I am betting. The lawsuit in BC is the first of many. If the Jan. slide was significant enough to be sited for yet never disclosed to the market, their arrogance got the best of the them. They are preparing for many months, years of testimony. Their ties to BYN have sunk that ship too. The shares there will be forced sale and the only hope is they do it before BYN is a t.01. A mine with a co. that can never be developed is worthless. I count my blessings that i got out before the collapse and my loss with the daytrading took away a lot of my profits over the years. I fell in love with the story and the hope. My error. I expect little to any rebate from a class action. I do want a pound of fleash though. Not just for me but the folks who did not get out. GLTA. There are many more great opps out there.

BYN likely will be sold/acq to pay off VG's debts. Original plan was VG to takeover, but guess now it will be external sale (BYN shareholders might do all right).

It's the only way they could pay that debt is to sell off BYN. 95 mil debt settled for any hope to continue, and they only have 45-50 mil on hand atm.

Thanks to the mismanagement and failures by VG this will be / is Black mark on Canadian mining in the Yukon and North in general. it's a terrible situation for miners, shareholders, FN and anything downstream .... let alone future projects who's development security $$ / Bonds will be very likely going up significantly.

Not a snowball chance in hell, and any future mining projects in the near term zero chance on advancing

Mining is a dirty business so hopefully no more new mines in the Yukon...
