Surprise! Ex-Victoria Gold employee writes in

claiming regulators aren't scrutinizing receiver as they did mining company.  One of the few P. Eng. I've noted that has has the courage to speak up on anything regards VG ->  Eagle -> "loss of containment" -> YTG "takeover"

Don't know what YTG is going to end up with but it won't be pretty.

No surprise here.  To thi sday it was apparent that there was a lot of backroom shenanigans and retoric afoot to take over (nowithstanding claims contrary)  that had noting to do with the "loss of containment".

Don't know what this is going to end up as but it won't be pretty.

Opinion letter to the Yukon News.

"The construction of the "deflector berm" is a glaring example. The government, flexing its regulatory muscle, appointed a contractor and initially promised completion within two weeks. Victoria Gold, raising valid concerns about the lack of engineering of this massive structure, was portrayed as obstructive. Yet now, a month after the receivership, construction hasn't even begun, and the Premier's recent claims of progress ring hollow."
