Water Board treated VG unfairly-Yukon Supreme Court Justice

Perhaps here's one of many reasons for the alleged behaviour by John McConnell towards YTG.

Slowly some of the details of dealings with YTG are being revealed.

"Victoria Gold took the Water Board to court in August 2022 after the board issued a decision rejecting the company's updated reclamation and closure plan and increasing the mine's security from roughly $30.7 million to more than $104.9 million".

If I remember the additional security requirement came out later once the mine was operational due to some spills, etc.  If YTG had proof or suspicions that all was not OK with the heap why did YTG and EMR not get active and call for an independant probe at that point in time.  Perhaps the heap "containment collapse" could have been prevented?

"https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/north/victoria-gold-water-board-security-unfairness-1.7349603 when coming up with $74M security increase, judge rules"

So it may appear that this one is quite possibly of a long list of issues that caused an "abrasive attitude" with YTG.

One could perhaps start to beleive that YTG and EMR is no longer effective when it come to rulings and is starting to leave a legacy and trail of crazy behind them.
