I don't like it...but hope the day comes soon when they regret selling shares so cheaply.

Randgold continues to be a major shareholder so it is not in the company's best interest to make any sales which would have a significant impact on the share price for their remaining shares.

Interesting development indeed! One has to wonder what the reasoning for such a move would be at a time when gold is rising, seasonality is soon to be a factor, Volta is delivering success after success, etc, etc. I have to believe (until shown otherwise, of course) that this is all about Randgold... perhaps a lack of cash, perhaps money needed for an acquisition, whatever. Guys.  Rangold is having problems meeting expectations.  They sold last quarter to inflate their books, and can you really BLAME THEM?  Sheesh, it's like a multi bagger from their perspective and they need the cash.  It is NOT a commentary on Volta, unless being happy to take a HUGE profit reflects poorly.  I bet, if you asked Rangold when they made they deal if they ...more
