Very Impressed!

Good PFS, and this i like allot....

The scale and robustness of the Project has resulted in multiple expressions of interest from a range of banks and project finance advisory groups seeking to assist the Company in exploring appropriate financing arrangements for the project. Following review of proposals submitted, the company is pleased to announce that it has selected Standard Bank to provide advice on securing the financing for the Project development.

Standard Bank's Head of Mining, Energy & Infrastructure Lending, Don Hultman, commented: "We are delighted with the opportunity to work with Volta's experienced management team to ensure the successful funding and development of their Kiaka Gold Project. Kiaka is proving to be one of the most exciting new gold projects in West Africa, with a considerable resource, strong annual production and potential for economic upside from identified satellite resources."

Will drop hard! 600million capex on only 550million PRE TAX! NPV - look what happend to SSP forget it - if no major takes it out it`s headed to 0.5 sorry facts are facts- good one is T.LYD for example. not the time to hold high capex low IRR projects, better get youself cheap "in production stocks" like T.SAM or T.ATN

Much better than SSP teatime! Sorry mate ;-) - Strip rate is much better. - Average grade is way better. - High grade zone that might turn into something spectacular, will be included in the final PFS. - Better recovery Rate. - Financing definitely won't be a problem now. - And much better properties like Nassara :) When the high grade results will come out VTR will fly, JMHO! GLTA ...more

all you said might be true and i can imagine a major buying it, BUT still the numbers are not that great... and VTR will most likely not be able to raise 600million themselfs. so if gold starts it`s run back to 1900, then VTR migt be a very good play, but in current enviroment it is more likely that it does go down to 0.5 when i said similar thing on SSP board the day their results came out ...more

Teatime, Remember after SSP came with there results, SSP and VTR and all other juniors dropped much more. So if you think Volta will drop now too 0,5 then believe me all others will do the same. You must be really deserate in pumping LYD.

Down to .5 - seriously?  Up 2 cents, on 930,000 shares (yes, some are crosses, but still pretty reasonable volume) 2 1/2 hours after open, on a big down day for gold stocks, and you're calling a drop to .5?   If it was going to fall off a cliff (unlikely) it would have done so in the first 1/2 hour of trading, and you would have seen institutional positions declining ...more
