Hey Golddiggers

Don't if you have kept somekind of statistics on

how many shares this broker has been selling in

the last 2 or 3 weeks

It must be quite amazing

I would be very curious to know

I am honestly curious as to the fascination with Cormack.  Because in my mind I am assuming that they have funds and there may be some automated selling related to redemption of mutual funds or who knows what.  I mean its not some wise genius named Cormack sitting at a computer deciding that now is a great time to sell Volta.  So if someone could tell me what they are reading ...more

I think the assumption is that Cormark (Sprott) - being long-time advocates of the case for precious metals, would be indicative of some of the more well-informed members of the institutional community when it comes to junior mining shares, so if they're buying it would be seen as positive and selling would be seen as negative.  In fact, I guess that might be the case, but I agree with ...more

Thanks, and I think you are right about the institutional holding (percentage) is useful information.  Even if you look at the due diligence that must have happened with the last private placement, at about $1.90, presumably the people that looked at Volta then had some expertise and were satisfied that the millions of dollars going into the company was a reasonable bet;  who knows what ...more
