Another storm is looming

I've been looking on a 3 years chart for VTR, you have to gack to to January 21, 2010 to find VTR trading at

.67.  Next stop between
.40 to
.50  WOOOOOWWW

Could it be another kind of a black friday for VTR???

POG down almost $12.00

On the chart the ultimate oscillator is indicating 'Oversold' I guess it was easy to find out

But each time we have been in this territory (3 or 4 times over the last 3 years) VTR made a rebound

I guess all the stars have to be aligned specially the POG has to rebound to

This reminds me a lot (too much) of coal stocks in fall 2008.  WTN at 1.25?  It can't get any cheaper than that!  Then again at .75, then again at .50 when it was trading less than 1/2 of CASHFLOW/share.  Of course a couple of years later they sold out at around 10 bucks, but at the time everyone was explaining how nobody would ever produce steel again, hence nobody would ...more

As I said, the most important factor right now in the market for people to flock back to gold juniors is the POG has to come back with a sustained upwards momentum to $2000/oz.... which history tells you that it will be the case.  It's not a question of IF, but WHEN.   Until then, sit tight and if have powder, buy some at these bargain prices.... VTR could hit $.50s and then ...more

I agree, good call, never know when the panic moment will strike and you get a sudden spike-down.  I don't think I'll ever get the .01 shares, but .30's seems totally possible.

The only thing that is wrong with sitting tight (not selling at $1.00s, $.80s)  and waiting for the POG coming back up and hence all gold juniors' valuations is that VTR sp continues to go down (say $.30s) and then boom, a takeover offer with say $.60s..... I hope VTR management at that point can save the longs?!  who have bought and held on in the $2.00s, $1.50s, $1.00s ...more

VTR could hit $.50s and then even $.30s (ALLEN4, is this possible?)  -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- No idea and it does not make much difference to me because in either case I would absolutely not consider selling.  Anyone selling at these prices is simply acting irrationally in my view.  The message of the market to ...more

Selling some to buy again is not a plague but your option or opertunity. I totally respect everyones individual style and you have to be able to live in your own skin. If markets move and you dont you can miss opps that are out there. These stocks move for various reasons and if any one person can say with certainty they have it down they are mistaken. At this point in time I have shares I monkey ...more

Absolutely, and when I referred to the crazy people selling I was not referring to my sophistocated brethren on this board; I was referring to the more traditional sellers who are panicking now and selling on fear, because of course fear and greed can both kill you.  If you can make it work for you great;  I would have great admiration for anyone who had sold their shares at $2.40 and ...more

I played Kodiak in the day and make a killing and then didn't but made out with two shirts and enough to buy more shares of others than I started with. Volta has the goods so we now need a few result out of the south to buff up the initial startup grades and a market who cares. The latter seems to be the problem. I also worry about the region but who would think 5mil oz,cash and some cool other ...more
