The next catalyst

Trying to figure out what could be a catalyst that could help lift VTR's stock price

Can't find something for the moment. Unless POG would increase big time.

I think it will take a couple of days to digest this NR & the movement in the stock price

I just hope today we could close above 0.70 which is the 20 DMA

There are all kinds of catalysts around the corner, including Nassara drill results, preparatory work for the Feasibility study, further scouting drill results for Kiaka satellites;  we are spending twenty millions dollars between now and the end of the year on agressive drilling on several sites;  this is not an inactive company.    I think the problem is that there is a ...more

There might not be anything company specific on the short term horizon (ie: can never tell when drill results can be expected given slow lab turn around) but post the most recent drill results and PFS, there are apt to be some positive write ups or mention of VTR in general in comming weeks.   Stock price wise, about what has been experienced by many other PM concerns where news fails to ...more

Will see the gold MM's trying to get it back under 1600 will see if the bulls can hold .. if so this is the biggest help for VTR SP.. as there is under 100,000 shares till 80 cents.. so we get some interest due to POG spike or a firm hold over 1600.. and the press will start printing out VTR's NR .. we should build from here.. I am hoping anyway..

wow, given NR like this does not move VTR up, I wonder whether it's actually good not to do any more exploration work, but rather VTR should focus on developing the Kiaka Central project..... NRs should give the advancement of the project step by step.... BFS, followed by permitting then financings options, then EPCM, building mine etc.... That way, maybe VTR sp can hold the $.75 - $.80 ...more
