Cash conservation

FYI management are really reining in unnecessary expenses.  I was talking to the IR guy the other day, he's been with them for 6 years and he's been let go, aswell as some others.  He's not bitter, he knows they are doing the right thing in this market, and he reckons that anyone buying at these levels will end up being handsomely rewarded.

Thanks Mick16, that's encouraging.   Its good to hear some of these things directly from the company.  Tough job being the IR guy in these markets, because no one is listening to anything.  Everyone hates gold miners because of Barrick and Kinross.  I am noticing recently though that some people are distinguishing between the seniors and the juniors, rating the ...more

May take a few more months yet for us to get the real direction of POG .. IMO TONY EASTLEY: Gold is often described as a safe financial haven; the precious metal that everyone wants when times get tough. Pretty much all of the long-standing gold positive analysts and bloggers I read are now figuring it will be 2015 or 2016 before there's any resumption in the gold bull market, and that it will be stuck between 1000 and 1300 until at least then.  So unless you want to take that as a contrarian/capitulation sign, you can pretty much write VTR off as a going concern, as the 10 million in the ...more
