One year ago today
The 2020 pandemic market panic saw VMD on the TSX drop.
On March 16, 2020, exactly one year ago, it touched a low of $C 3.36.
On May 4, 2020, the day of the Q1 conference call, it closed at $C 8.88.
That was the last time it traded below $C 9.00.
Despite the volatility of the stock, the company continues to perform to my satisfaction.

From what I see VMD then marched to $15.77 on June 22/20. cannot wait for it to get back into that price range.

I hear you and feel your frustrations, I have been complaining about this for going on two years. It is not just VMD. I have ten stocks and all of them are manipulated in some way. The Venture is even worse. They are making money off of retail that hasnt figured out that day trading and penny flipping feeds the manipulation cycle. We need more actual investors and less gamblers. IMO

According to shortvolume.com, 81% of yesterday's heavy volume represented short selling. I expect the same today. When/if the short sellers take their profits, they will see the share price rise as quickly as it fell. The volatility, however, disillusions the long term investor. https://shortvolume.com/?t=vmd

Hey, EStreet - put your comment in front of the post you're quoting, not in it. I almost missed your input.
