Don't Bother Commenting on Report:

The report Maximus Federal Services  did for OIG  was a complete joke. It doesn't even make sense that CMS audited 42 of the 100 accounts before OIG hired a company to do it's own report, and they are all fine except one. They are paid to find dirt.

Viemed is still getting paid for there good service.

CMS would have to come out and say, that they made complete mistakes in their own report  for anything OIG - Maximus report.

If I'm correct Maximus is a For Profit publicly traded company (symbol MMS) in Virginia.

This is from there web page:

We use our decades of experience to design, develop, and deliver innovative and impactful health and human services programs. We are driven by a mission to strengthen communities and improve the lives of those we serve.

Viemed got approval from CMS before they even started patients on the vents and commenced billing. If CMS was to renege on this approval then providers/suppliers are not going to accept assignment any more. Patients will have to pay cash upfront and make their own claim to the insurers.
