Don't start rumors. This is boiler plate information that the company attorneys probably put out.

oops...Dot 1 was announced on August 1 (not late July). So it appears that 50% of the increase in employee count in August were the positions of Business Development and Acquisitions and Strategic Transactions.

Jeremy Trahan went to Notre Dame Law school. He was part of the team to do acquisitions. Perhaps he told them to put that out. They were both hired about 2 1/2 months ago. Maybe they found something they like and are covering all legal bases. They did tons of deals.

And Trudeau paying everyone with my money to sit on their asses at home and collect CERB and a dozen other benifits he dreamed up in an attempt to buy votes for a majority government in his unecessary fake 650 million wasted dollars election.

Oh calm down with your tedious lecturing. They said the markets were doomed forever in 1929 and every year or two afterward in the normal process of ups and downs and bear, bull markets also. I dont think you should be hanging around if you think the markets will never return to normal. Head for the hills then. Get out and stay out so you can sleep at night if you are indeed invested at all.

The market charts of the Dow in the last hundred or so years, regardless of periods of strife and whatever came along, still marched upward. Its called growth and will continue in whatever new sectors come along as obsolete ones like buggy whips fall from favour. Nothing more complicated than that. GL to the longs only.

Me looking in the rearview mirror you say?? Not at all. I look ahead at whats coming. Thats why I'm a committed long in US healthcare. 11,000 people/day turning 65 in the US. Simple as that. Its inevitable that PHM will be a big winner. And just for your info I dont own any GSI. Good luck to the longs only.

King Carl, you keep proving my point. You have admitted that you own no shares in GSI, but you are over on that board arguing and critizing another posters comments. You just can't help yourself, it's your personality that offends so many.

Sorry King Carl, you are once again dead wrong about me. I certainly did not sell Quipt and fllow ramman1 over to GateKeeper. I am a shareholder in GSI because their products and technology is fantastic, the ceo is a pretty smart cookie with a proven track record. Nothing else, sorry pal.

King Carl, you clearly suffer from dimentia and just plain make shite up to help you get through the day. You can't even recall who controlled your stockhouse account, or being banned, so you conviently blamed it on your son. There is help for people like you, the first step is admitting you clearly have issues. Hate is a very strong word King Carl, I hate no human being. Good luck pal.

Hey Moe, I agree to a point, but there is no way they all were close enough to retire, or financially well off to go and flip burgers. Way too many people in many different sectors, I don't know maybe you are correct. One thing is for sure we better not ever shut down again, or we will be forced to fight with the likes of King Carl over a roll of azzzz wipe at the local grocery store. LOL

There were many times like these. In a couple years interest rates will be lowered and things will get back to normal. Just look at the long term TSX index chart. Things always bounce back and so does the economy. This too shall pass.... GLTA

LOL.. yup hope the butt wipe wars are over too.. I think you'd be suprised at how many retired.. I know quite a few in my small circle of friends and acquaintances.. and of course through the pandemic those positions were never filled again.. just a smaller workforce saddled with more work.. IMO..
