Don't start rumors. This is boiler plate information that the company attorneys probably put out.
Comment by Tropicalsun on Oct 13, 2022 8:01pm
No please start one, atleast we will have something to talk about on this board. Just kidding, never in my life time have I seen and expierenced the events that have unfolded over the past 24 to 30 month's. I have asked many people in their eighties, they too can not ever remember times like these. Covid came and completeley changed the world, there are not enough doctors and nurses, a ...more

Rather than recruit new employees, companies will sometimes stop recruiting and simply buy out smaller operators in order to acquire their staff.   Dot 1: VMD announced in late July the hiring of: Michael Freeman as Chief Business Development Officer and Jeremy Trahan as Chief Legal Officer and Executive Vice President of Acquisitions and Strategic Transactions.  They ...more

oops...Dot 1 was announced on August 1 (not late July).  So it appears that 50% of the increase in employee count in August were the positions of Business Development and Acquisitions and Strategic Transactions.

Wow!! Just shoot me!! LOL.
Comment by LongTerm3 on Oct 14, 2022 1:30pm
Jeremy Trahan went to Notre Dame Law school. He was part of the team to do acquisitions. Perhaps he told them to put that out. They were both hired about 2 1/2 months ago.  Maybe they found something they like and are covering all legal bases. They did tons of deals.

And Trudeau paying everyone with my money to sit on their asses at home and collect CERB and a dozen other benifits he dreamed up in an attempt to buy votes for a majority government in his unecessary fake 650 million wasted dollars election.
Comment by Tropicalsun on Oct 25, 2022 3:34pm
We'll King Carl that is the reality of a democratic system, those millions and millions that voted the liberals in can only sit back and except Trudeau's policies and shouldn't come cry on my shoulder. On the other hand what do people like you have? You pisss and moan and vent your frustration, but at the end of the day you are powerless to do anything about it. On a positive note ...more

Millions and millions to install another minority government. Complete waste of time and money. I am powerless other than my vote and I certainley didnt apply for or collect any of the billions Trudy blew off the back off a truck and is now trying to collect from those that didnt qualify in the first place. So King Carl, Moe, LongTerm3 and anyone else on the board. Care to speculate, just how crazy are these markets? The stock got as high as $8.55 on less than 16,000 shares traded in Canada. Why? Speculation on earnings? The drag effect of pot stocks having a good day? Maybe just maybe we might be getting close to announcing an acquisition? What about the very long awaited VA contract? Likely up ...more

Oh calm down with your tedious lecturing. They said the markets were doomed forever in 1929 and every year or two afterward in the normal process of ups and downs and bear, bull markets also. I dont think you should be hanging around if you think the markets will never return to normal. Head for the hills then. Get out and stay out so you can sleep at night if you are indeed invested at all.
Comment by Tropicalsun on Oct 25, 2022 8:07pm
And there you have it King Carl, your own dillusional preception of my post. I used the term new normal which certainly does not imply that the markets will remain like this. But you also keep proving that you can't resist acting like a total prikkk, that is because it is clearly your personality. I bet your wife would say that you listen but you don't hear, she would also say that read ...more

Well you did say the markets probably wont return to normal. So whats the new normal in your mind?? a 10,000 Dow?? A 6500 Nazdaq?? Your a fart in a mitt. Go back 100 years and look at the Dow from when it started at 100 or so. World wars, depressions, recessions, bulls, bears, and all that shitt and its done nothing but go up to the right. The great depression barely shows up on the long chart ...more

Hey King Carl, as usual man all you do is throw together a bunch of words, but you don't say anything brother. It's like one of my good freinds always says, so many people say blah, blah, blah but they are not ever saying anything meaningful. My point being read your post, going back a 100 years, wars, the great depression, bears, bulls, that is all in the past and has nothing to do with ...more

The market charts of the Dow in the last hundred or so years, regardless of periods of strife and whatever came along, still marched upward. Its called growth and will continue in whatever new sectors come along as obsolete ones like buggy whips fall from favour. Nothing more complicated than that. GL to the longs only.
Comment by Carlito3211 on Oct 26, 2022 9:22am
Me looking in the rearview mirror you say?? Not at all. I look ahead at whats coming. Thats why I'm a committed long in US healthcare. 11,000 people/day turning 65 in the US. Simple as that. Its inevitable that PHM will be a big winner. And just for your info I dont own any GSI. Good luck to the longs only.
Comment by Tropicalsun on Oct 26, 2022 9:29am
King Carl, you keep proving my point. You have admitted that you own no shares in GSI, but you are over on that board arguing and critizing another posters comments. You just can't help yourself, it's your personality that offends so many.
Comment by Carlito3211 on Oct 26, 2022 9:44am

Comment by Tropicalsun on Oct 26, 2022 10:25am
King Carl, take the bloody blinders off brother. It's not about how often you post on the GSI board, it's about wanting to get into it with anyone who does not share your opinion. Why on gods green earth would you waste your time arguing with a poster on another board, especially when you have admitted that you own no shares in that company????? I find that to be very strange behavior, are ...more

I have my reasons to throw my opinion in a certain posters face at GSI that never hesitated to call me every name under the sun and then some. Sorry King Carl, you are once again dead wrong about me. I certainly did not sell Quipt and fllow ramman1 over to GateKeeper. I am a shareholder in GSI because their products and technology is fantastic, the ceo is a pretty smart cookie with a proven track record. Nothing else, sorry pal.

Yes you followed along like a little sheep and were complimenting him on what a wonderful stock he had recommended and the tech was surely to be a winner. That was when you were buying it at .70-..80 cents. You then turned on this certain poster at GSI as the rug got pulled out from under it and have had a hate theme for him ever since. Not his fault. Its your fault for falling for it. Good luck ...more

King Carl, you clearly suffer from dimentia and just plain make shite up to help you get through the day. You can't even recall who controlled your stockhouse account, or being banned, so you conviently blamed it on your son. There is help for people like you, the first step is admitting you clearly have issues. Hate is a very strong word King Carl, I hate no human being. Good luck pal.

Well I've seen you make many mistakes like coming and going from PHM(VMD,QIPT) every time the stock went red and having a hissy fit and swearing you would never be back. At least four times in the last couple years and then as soon as they go green here you are again like nothing happened. Hard to believe anything you say. Your up and down like a dogs hind leg. Hey Moe, I agree to a point, but there is no way they all were close enough to retire, or financially well off to go and flip burgers. Way too many people in many different sectors, I don't know maybe you are correct. One thing is for sure we better not ever shut down again, or we will be forced to fight with the likes of King Carl over a roll of azzzz wipe at the local grocery store. LOL
Comment by besttobe on Oct 25, 2022 4:08pm
There were many times like these. In a couple years interest rates will be lowered and things will get back to normal. Just look at the long term TSX index chart. Things always bounce back and so does the economy. This too shall pass.... GLTA
Comment by Moemoney42 on Oct 25, 2022 4:19pm
LOL.. yup hope the butt wipe wars are over too.. I think  you'd be suprised at how many retired.. I know quite a few in my small circle of friends and acquaintances.. and of course through the pandemic those positions were never filled again.. just a smaller workforce saddled with more work.. IMO..
