When this acquisition closes:

Viemed will achieve a year of growth in revenue. I'm sure some of there overhead could be saved in areas like billing, purchasing, and maybe warehouse space for example.

As usual the great news will take a couple days to kick in around here. We should get a real healthy kick in the pants to a new all time high because of this.

Don't worry about the stock price, as the company keeps on performing, the stock will go up. They are doing a great job. It took eight months to do this deal, and purchase prices came down. It was worth the wait.

Rather terse NR. Maybe mgmt is waiting for deal to close before talking about cost synergies, revenue synergies.

Iscfa, that would me my take as well. Also probably why potential investors and the markets are not reacting more favorable to today's news. More often than not companies have changed their strategies these days, typically they just announce the news when the acquisition is complete. Even though the news release states definitive intent, we all know it is not a done deal until the news says ...more

Just stop with the BS. This company has never played games with news. If they put it out, it is done.

LongTerm3, if you are responding to my post and pretty sure you are, what is the problem with you. I think you need to take a pill and understand what you read. I certainly did not imply that the company was playing games by any stretch. I have seen other companies release the same kind of acquisition news and on occasion something happens that causes the deal to fall through. Once again I am not ...more

LongTerm3, what world do you live in saying its done? To me it's quite obvious the duediligence process is still ongoing, thus the timeframe to expected close in June. Ask yourself the question, if todays news release had read Viemed has acquired Home Base Medical Products, don't you think the market reaction would have been much better along with a much better uptick in the SP??? I just read the Beacon report again and Cooper said $2 Canadian which is $1.49 US. Sometimes news on a stock needs to be absorded. That's why I waited a day. In the last two days the stock moved up .71 cents US which is almost equal to half the $2 Canadian you mentioned. This is a fair move at this time. People are waiting on the conference call also.

You must admit though that you've had half a dozen hissy fits and sold out and left and then bought back when the stock has turned and is on an upward swing again. Its a losing game to do that. Just buy it and forget it.

They signed a Definitive Stock Purchase Agreement, and Not some bogus Letter of intent. That is the difference. I only post facts, You just imply things.
Comment by Tropicalsun on Apr 19, 2023 10:11am
Bahahaha, LongTerm3 get off your high horse, you post your opinion and when someone challenges that you get all worked up because you are completely bias towards this company, you always have been. I implied nothing, I debated your post with facts and you act like a child. So l am way past tired of your very biased opinion about Viemed, mine on the other hand has always been realistic on both ...more

Well....I can attest to Longterms commitment to this stock and have to say he is very knowledgeable and fun to debate with. I do hope he makes lots of money off this stock, even though we butt heads at times.  Keep it up Longterm, as I am sure you know what you are doing and your overall portfolio treats you right.  I do respect you.  B2B

Thank you. I really like to count the patient count mostly. The reason I look at the employees is because they would never hire anyone unless there was a need. I was caught totally off guard that they hired 14 people last month, after saying they are slowing down on hiring.  The patient count isn't as accurate as it was, because only 67 percent of revenue comes from it down from 90 ...more

Some people like technical chart analysis, some people like patient count, some people like employee count to base their estimations on. A few years ago when I found out 11,000 people/day turn 65 in the US and will continue to do so for the next 15 years I started buying PHM. Works for me.
