Buyout...

Why would anyone disagree or be against this merger? With the combined synergies of both WCP and TOG, the future upside is far better and achievable than each company going at it alone. Survival in today's oil market means consolidation and low cost production. In my opinion, 0.57 WCP shares for each share of TOG is reasonable (calculated based on the indicated time period) and if WTI reaches the $50 - $60 level, converted TOG shareholders will be rewarded.

If Bret Hermann says its time to merge,  then its time. I suspect  Nuttall knew about this some weeks ago when he bumped TOG back up to #1 weighting and stated on BNN that he thought TOG dividends would be restarted soon. It will be interesting to see how he unwinds his position in WCP or TOG before Feb. as 20% is too high for 1 stock. Even though TOG has better torq to a $50+ oil ...more
