From the news in Korea.

 

A meeting has been slated for the residents, and others,

who wish to attend, on the re-development plans for the

Sangdong Mine.

The meeting to take place at 5:00pm in YeongWal.

Among other things to be discussed, the plan for Sangdong

Mine will be discussed/presented.

There are currently about 50 people working at the mine site.

There is apparently much curiousity from the residents regarding

the tight-lipped deal making between Woulfe Mining and IMC.

So, this should be interesting to say the least.....

Umm, that's all I have for now, wish I could attend that meeting

though!!!  But can't.

 

Will keep you all posted on anything else that comes across the

wires....

What is the time and date of this meeting? This is great news! It means the IMC & WOF deal will be finalized and the Sandong mine is moving forward. Cheers!

Hi Majormac79, Interesting article. Last two sentences said Sangdong Mining announced to the public that the company will loan $120 Mil from Shinhan Bank, and also mentioned in this February about the investment of $80 Mil from Warren Buffet. However, there hasn't been any detail plan of the development or the company status reported to the Yeongwol municipality
