Korean CEO of Sangdong Mining Dismissed

The Korean CEO of Sangdong Mining, who stood up and voted against Brian & Amelia at the AGM last November, was dismissed by Brian. Given the importance of Sangdong to Woulfe, isn't this something that has to be disclosed to the market? Just curious.

No More Mr. Nice Guy CEO! Well, If that is true then i'm glad you told us about it. This shows us that our Woulfe Mining CEO Brian Wesson actually has some backbone after all. He made an example out of some big shot at Sangdong who tried to question his supreme authority as CEO. Now he has brought billionaire Ned Goodman onto the Woulfe Mining Board of Directors. He is ready to throw ...more

I still don't think the deal is dead. It may be in "trouble", but certainly not dead. The company is still mentioning the strategic agreement with IMC on their website, even in yesterdays press release. Replies from the company confirm that the negotiations are still on. Who knows may be it's "dying" but not dead as yet. Lets' get the Debenture closed, $5 mil. paid ...more

As I recall, someone here posted something to the fact that the apparent delay has nothing whatsoever to do with Warren Buffet or Berkshire Hathaway as this deal would be too insignificant.   I totally disagree. The apparent delay in fact could be because of Berkshire Hathaway, their  negotiating tactics or whatever at their end. The reason why I think this deal will require a decision ...more

Tungsten is a valuable rare earth critical resource. Warren Buffett wants to protect himself and Berkshire Hathaway from the $85 billion dollars per month in new currency printing by the United States Federal Reserve. Read the recent news. The world is on the verge of a world wide currency war with massive amounts of new money being printed by Japan the United States and other countries. https ...more

If you follow my thinking in my last post, you can see how significant the paying back the $5 mil. is. Essentially, the loan term was like IMC having one hand on the table negotiating all the while having the other hand under the table squeezing Brians b a l l s.   We pay the loan back and the tables have turned 180. Basically, we can walk and the fact that we could, will be a real test of ...more

Techone, the CEO was not dismissed.   Tiger Kim was spoken to just this week. Contact: 033-378-2001   If anything, when Sangdong Mining had the 5pm "meeting" back in August, they may have gotten the residents too excited or Sangdong personnel were 'too' confident that the deal was imminent.... Since then however, as we all know, things were not imminent, and what we ...more

Interesting article from South Korea. I thought the Sangdong tungsten mine had an estimated mine lifespan of 40 to 80 years but this news article from South Korea says 100 to 200 years of mining is possible. Some tungsten mines are known to have very long mine lifespans. "Redevelopment is promoted homologous Yongweol According to the Mine Tungsten estimated reserves of 10,001 billion to 300 ...more

Thank you geo!   Jackpotter: I gotta ask... Where did you get your info?    Seems like your account was created just a couple of days ago and all you've done is throw cold showers on the board.

Tiger Kim, CEO of Sangdong was dismissed as of Jan. 29, 2013. Sadly, he is no longer with Sangdong. This was the second dismissal after the first one in Nov. 2012 for the reason of him voted against Brian at the AGM as a shareholder. What I don't understand is why Woulfe is hiding such critical facts while it is sth. that should be disclosed to the market. Someone blamed me ...more

Perhaps he is desperate for more cheap shares of WOF stock. Especially after he read this excellent news on Woulfe Mining today from South Korea. I bet there is a lot of people/investors out there who wish they bought shares of WOF cheaper after reading this news article about Woulfe Mining from South Korea. I would like nothing more than to see WOF become a major mine and the share price go to 6,7,8, dollars(if it takes 3 years so be it that's ok with me). I just don't like to be kept in the dark. If it's ok with you that's your thing but I don't like it. Devon

Easybuxxx,      Read the recent news article out of South Korea today. The Woulfe Mining CEO Brian Wesson has Ned Goodman backing him up. From what I can understand the "Woulfe Mining retracts Sangdong non-compliant info" is basically the restatement due by WOF as required by the BCSC . I guess the more important question for me is this really a big deal ??? The Woulfe mining 2010 report is no longer relevant since the feasibility study came out.   The 2010 scoping study and mineral resource estimates have been superseded by a feasibility study on the Sangdong property having an effective date of June 6, 2012, and entitled "Sangdong Project Feasibility Study."   Read more at https://www.stockhouse.com/bullboards ...more
