Locals Go Loco?

Seriously..... Do you think the locals will recind the mining agreements with Woulfe? Only to start all over again searching for a new investment firm, investors, financing, set the project back a year or more. I sincerely don't think so. Although I do understand their position and I probably would feel the same as they do, but it isn't in their best interest to kill this project, so they will have to suck it up like the rest of us investors.

It's not about being loco a la cabeca or not, it's about whether or not this foreign owned entity WOF can be trusted.  And so, if enough 'stink' is raised, the county officials take action, which they are doing currently.  If nothing more is done by WOF that can be trusted, then more stink is raised and it gets taken to the next level, provincial... you have to know that ...more

The Woulfe Mining CEO Brian Wesson is the brains behind this project. He put this all together. Now he has brought in the billionaire Ned Goodman and his company Dundee to complete the master plan. In my opinion a grand bargain will be struck with the bank and IMC. If not then Dundee will step in and fund this project and make IMC pay dearly for future tungsten needs because of their failure ...more

Geo, I respect your point of view.  Given how challenging the environment is for small caps to raise funds and find investors, it will probably take more time to get new financing and new investors lined up to bring the project into production, than it would to let WOF get the current deal completed. To your argument of untrustworthiness, is this rhetoric by the local community (or a few ...more

kilgor, I'm simply relaying as best I can the views that have been expressed by locals from the news articles that I have linked in previous posts.  I'm simply relaying the perceptions.  Sure, there's some rhetoric, but there's a larger issue than just time going by with nothing happening.  There's the feeling in the community that WOF can't get this thing ...more

Geo, You misunderstand. I wasn't being facetious. All of your points are valid and your interpretation of those facts are not too extreme. I enjoy reading your posts along with others that provide a well thoughtout point of view. I just offered a counter argument to your points which doesn't necessarily make me right. It is just my opinion. Back to your point of the community doesn't ...more

Hi kilgor, I didn't misunderstand.  And I respect your posts and others here on the board as well. In my previous post to you, I am also aware that others read it as well, so I wanted to reach out to 'them' as well... I had a point about twisting info that I wanted to get off my chest is all.
