Well I am sure that was not the news announcement we were looking for.  But the fact that Brian resigned implies that there is a power struggle by the major stakeholders in which direction to take the company. The fact that there are stakeholders remaining and they have a vision to bring the value to the shareholders. The question is in what direction and how much value. The ...more

Did Weson sell his shares and then resign because WOF is a rose garden?

Now that the Wessons are out Woulfe is much more interesting.  It removes governance nepotism issues.

Some of you may remember I posted several weeks ago about the Koreans being gun shy to another BAJ scenario. That was a father and daughter relationship but bad none the less. I expect to here something soon now the house cleaning has been taken care of. There is always a catch, isn't there.

Options..  But we won't know whether they keep them or lose them since ususally options are tied to both expiry as well in management case, their conditions of employement..

This news today has been absolutely poorly managed. There should've been a halt. Instead of providing some clarity of information and facts, the markets will be trading on when the follow up news will come. The longer we go without a follow up, the SP will get hammered. They should've halted this. Does not matter for how long. As long as it take to provide material information. They ...more

Just realized that if they in fact did a halt today, everyone would've expected the IMC deal. Wow, that would've been a serious let down.

I agree! This was backwards how they released this news today. Management at Woulfe Mining needs to get their act together. I can't figure out what the problem is if Woulfe Mining has a billionaire backing them up. The amount of money needed to move this project along is pocket change for a billionaire or company like Dundee. Instead this company just sits around and twiddles their thumbs ...more

they dont really have "big Billionaires" backing them, thats just the issue. dundee might have bought into the "idea" that sangdong was a good play, and the IMC connection probably sweetened the deal. So far weve seen a 12% drop in sp. Does that look promising? If billionaires had backed this, the deal would be done. Billionaires make money because they dont waste time, making ...more

https://www.woulfemining.com/s/Directors.asp I disagree! Take a look at the company website. The "billionaire" Ned Goodman is on the WOF board of directors. He is obviously backing WOF up someway. Otherwise he would not let his good name be associated with this company. https://www.woulfemining.com/s/Directors.asp
