NO COMPANY SPOKESPERSON SHOULD POST ON A PUBLIC BOARD IN THAT CAPACITY AND DISCUSS ANYTHING THAT HAS TO DO WITH THE COMPANY..ANYTHING!! JUST PLAIN UNPROFESSIONAL!~

I also disagree. Thirty of us posters could phone and ask the same questions and it would be perfectly legit for him to answer the way he has....but if he does so on the message board where dozens can equally benefit from this interaction, it is not? The ones you should worry about are those in a similar capacity (or management) who come on these boards without identifying who they ...more

I also disagree (or rather agree with Raptor). If he was posting confidential information here it would be a different story but clarifying statements on public record and so on is no different one on one or one to many. If he would give the information to one person in an email, should it therefore be withheld from everyone else?
