Am I missing something?

You guys all seem to be very knowledgeable. Am I missing something? Dundee and Korean Zinc buy more and... nobody is buying and people are selling? I really thought that this would take us into the twenties... instead, selling pressure? Now a big enough wall selling at .17? Again, this has been happening to WOF for the last couple of years..  a good NR, price drops. PLEASE!! Does anybody have an explanation that makes any sense?

A lot of investors moved away from resources stocks in general and from Woulfe during the last month/years. In addition tungsten never has been in the focus of investors. But I'm quite optimistic that will change...

Ever since the annoucement of the PP on August 26th, we've been trading in the $0.15-0.185 range with a fairly consistent volume. It can be any one of many reasons, but the longer we stay in this range and with the mounting speculation of a deal to come, we should break to the upside sooner than later. The time horizon IMO is end of September, possibly to mid October. Of course, we do not get ...more

Ark, I agree with you, it has traded in this range since Aug 26 when they first announced it. I just assumed that when it was made official, followed by news of Korean Zinc also putting money in, and now trading at .17 looking downward when the high was either .185 or .19 (don't remember), I just thought more people were waiting for this to buy back in, along with the selling pressure ...more

Hi Chizzles. I don't think you're missing anything. From purely my perspective, I think your expectations of what share prices "ought to be doing" may be the issue.  In technical analysis (TA) "what" (the stock price is) is the important factor, not "why" the price is what it is. Line up ten people and you will get ten different "why" answers ...more

The prospects for future intermediate gains look good from a technical perspective but likely won't resume until .18 cent resistance is broken on strong volume And the problem with that is that before this happens we need some sort of substantiative news regarding the strategic prospects for the company.  Let's face it when shares were trading hands at a dime that was ...more

Excellent post Segundo!  However, what seems to me to be a bit puzzling is that the announcement  of Korea Zinc's  participation in the PP, obviously at their demand, did not affect the price as much or more than Ned's return to the BOD. They simply would not have bothered with this if they had any reservations about this project's viability.  Obviously either the ...more

Market skepticism here is far greater than what I had thought with this none reaction to KZs participation in the PP. I too thought NGs reappointment to the BOD and KZ buying more shares was a significant turnaround for this company. A real vote of confidance that things are on solid ground here. The fact is the market has been 'burned' twice with WOF. First, the deal with KZ going sour ...more

Thanks, Rip. I agree with your post regarding the significance of KZ's new involvement. Like Dundee, KZ appears as another major player with presumptive knowledge of Wof's  true business viability  and speaks with cold hard cash.  On the other hand, in spite of its four-month holding period for the stock,  KZ also had the opportunity to buy millions of shares of a by ...more

Korea zinc didn't participate in the private placement as much as they exercised an anti-dilution clause in their contract that allows them to buy ENOUGH shares at the offering price to keep their percentage ownership of Woulfe the same (and no more, e.g. they can't use this clause to increase it).  It IS a bullish indicator for the stock (what insider would throw good money after bad ...more
