Hopefully the answer is both measures failed and Dundee is desperately trying to findi a way around it before announcing it. As far as the deal with ICI, they had NO intent of signing it this February or they wouldn't have signed the two year extension agreement.  If they intended on signing it today, they wouldn't have bothered with an extension. ARGH! As far as the deal with IMC . . . (sigh) long long day. Anyway a Johnny Come Lately like Dundee would only rate Preferred stock if they were financing the entire rest of the mine itself (e.g. stepping into IMC's place).  They don't rate it for a couple low ball purchases of what should be, assuming everyone is dealing honestly, a sure thing.

Ahh, but I don't KNOW that the measure failed, or measures.  I'm just taking a poke at one possibility, not one PROBABILITY.  Further despite the voting then they might still have to verify it (e.g. verify ownership at time of voting vs time proxys were sent) and confirm it, which probably takes more than a few hours.  PARTICULARLY if the voting was close on any issue.
