Excellent choice for the new Woulfe Mining CEO. I know a couple of Canadian investors who familiar with the new CEO and they told me that Michel Gaucher will get the job done and help turn the company around. I spoke with them on the phone tonight after I read the press release.

Hi Gaius, Did they go into any detail or just say that he will get the job done? Also, how are they familiar with him? Thanks in advance, Chizzles

This company has let its shareholders down badly. Considering the big players on the stock register, their collective wisdom has come to nought. They initially destroyed the company's reputation by making terrible negative announcements and taking so long to replace Hubert Marleau as interim CEO (a very bad initial choice - why is he still on the board?? Surely he's had his chance). Then ...more

He is responsible for the Operational requirements of the mine.  All you need in a CEO in this case is good financial management experience as the BoD has all the other necessary requirements. Also, the way this company is structured they can sell off any division or in this case mine as a separate entity ...more

We've been waiting a long time. As "owners" of the company we have been and are totally in the dark as to what is happening and what their plans are. Remember the continuous delays in financing, IMC contribution, mine start up, bad announcements? I don't think we have received a satisfactory explanation to any of these issues. I still think it's badly managed and I certainly ...more

In any company, the CEO has to answer to the BoD and if the BoD is any good, they lay down the direction for thte CEO to execute. It is going to take another year before the IMC deal is going to be signed and then another year to build the ATP processing plant.  If you can't wait, perhaps you should consider other options.

Good Lord, someone has started opening his eyes . . .  I do agree with one thing about Gaucher, at least I've heard of him . . . which is odd because mining isn't my sector.  I just do research for a hobby and have noticed the difficulty in getting Tungsten parts for anything under a small fortune (for me anyway).  Someone on the RSH board talks to me as I dump that turd ...more
