End of tax selling

Basicly at the end of tax selling for 2014 so last chance to sell

I'd think they had until the end of the year, and it wasn't like it was significant volume. almost half the days reported trades on WFEMF went to me. Even with three times as much traded on the CSE it only comes to 100k+ shares . . not a huge event. Ah well let me round my numbers up and put another 14k away.

Ta loss selling is at year end, but transactions can take up to 3 business days to clear, so any trades beyond tomorrow would most likely not clear until Jan 2 2015.

If you want to trigger tax losses for 2014, the deadline is rapidly approaching. Because you need three business days to settle trades, waiting until next week will be too late. That makes a bit of sense, you go by date of transaction close, we go by date of transaction record . .  a slight difference but one I can see making a difference.

Can this  enormous drop of 96 % be explained by only Tax Selling ? I don't buy that. As WFEMF might be our major investment ( it is with me ), we really have the vieuw of a "nice Xmas present" on our screens. :-(((( But " Chin up, and keep a stiff upper lip" Season's greetings from Antwerp ( Be )

to Mr. Desad - it was just 4000 shares dumped on no bid and sold at virtually zero dollars (actually $20). To a tax loss seller, the sale price makes absolutely no difference, actually the lower the better as the tax loss is larger.  Expect more of this on the OTC from the US players.  They have huge gains to offsetthis year and they will sell the underperformers without second thoughts. ...more

Thanks mr. Wolfram,  I didn't know it was just 4 000 shares but the 96% were astonishing, never saw this ......
