yyzflex; wonderful bit of sleuthing. Coincidence? Perhaps not. So, Taegutec is building the plant which in of itself is an interesting development. Add to this the particular wording of the BoD cancellation letter for the takeover. They simply said that it's not in the best interest of shareholders. Nothing about being undervalued, seeking a better price, establishing a special committee ...more

Interesting???I think so.......Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway is a long-time shareholder in Posco. Berkshire began investing in 2007, and now holds about a 5% stake. While the shares have not been one of Buffett’s , clearly he still believes in the business.

In  the 25 Sept. 2012 NR it was announced that the Shinhan Bank was willing to advanance $150 million in debt for the Sangdong Project. Since the update to the feasibility study and de-risking of the project along with a lower cap-ex from $150m down to $75m,could the Shinhan Bank be our mysterious "White Knight" willing once again to help advance the Sangdong Project. ...more

I think the original MOU has expired. However, I don't think it would be difficult to get another or financing.

My Korean is not good, and Google Translater is not much better....   Can someone who speak fluent Korean translate and answer Is Posco buying or selling a plant? What has this got to do with Wof?  Are they in negotiations? Or are we speculating?

This is an old post, but may give some credibility to Posco's moly plant.... https://translate.google.ca/translate?hl=en&sl=ko&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.fnnews.com%2Fnews%2F201203041506549876 If Posco is building the plant in Yeongwol-gun, then it is no more than an hour away from the Sangdong mine.

???????? Again this news is not posted in their news site. https://www.poscomtech.com/company1/?page=news&start=0&action=&field=&keyword= Has it been completed?

This post can be confusing so here is another one. Meant "this news" was kilgor's llinked news below. https://translate.google.ca/translate?hl=en&sl=ko&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.fnnews.com%2Fnews%2F201203041506549876 And anyone interested can look up in POSCO M-TECH's website below. https://www.poscomtech.com/company1/?page=news&start=0&action=&field ...more

POSCO M-TECH is selling. And TaeguTec is a preferred (by POSCO.....that makes sense) first bidder. But my question is what Youngwol molybdenum plant? This whole thing is very confusing. And re: to WOF.......nothing, I don't get it! And this 2/18/2015 dated news isn't on their website, not updated yet? https://www.poscomtech.com/company1/?page=news&start=0&action=&field=& ...more

Correction! Sorry kilgor. Two different sales going on here. The first one is the sale of "urban mining business sales", whatever that is. And the second one is the "Youngwol molybdenum plant" sale. Hope that clears up things.

Thanks abc..... So I guess this NR does nothing for Wof, unless someone buys it brings it into production.
