Weather in Korea
Weather in the mountain areas of South Korea area is quite cold in the winter, with a lot of snow because of the moisture content of the air (close to the ocean). Temperatures drop to the 5-10 C below zero overnight. There usually is quite a bit odf snow on the ground at this time. I do not know how much. A couple of years ago there was a freak snow storm in the area that literally buried a few villages overnight people had to be dug out of their houses by Korean Army. The construction photos provided by Chrisp are taken in Gangneung, a large coastal city that will host most of the non-snow events of the next Winter Olympics. Pyeongchang, the place for the snow events at the Olympics, is west in the mountains, very similar to Sangdong in elevation and location with reliable seasonal snow cover. Freezes in December, thaws in March.

This comes from someone who has experience in mining?I don't think so,or else you would be aware that snow conditions are problem with many mining companies, not just one located in Korea.

You have to know Sangdong is in the middle of a deep winter....... Just look at our management, they are in hibernation. In addition, we can expect the gopher to poke his head out of the hole tomorrow to deliver the monthly (photcopied) report, then crawl back under that rock/hole from which it came, only to appear again in 4 weeks time......like clock work.
