Dewatering Mine Correction

When power is lost to muti-stage pumps, various stop / check valves auto-engage to stop flowback into mine, and keep pumps primed for re-start with out cavitation.

Just to add a few comments to the dewatering: One of the first steps will be evaluate the sizes of the pumps; since for now it is not clear how much water needs to be removed and at which rate. The quantity can be established by using the old mining plans and calculating approx. volume; quite straightforward. Agree with you on those points 100% Ionade, also a vast amount of water would be required to fill up all the Process Plants tanks and thickeners for initial wet commissioning to test pumps and plug any leaks, before adding ore to the system. Might be possible to use the mine water for this purpose. Even if it's a bit dirty, they can run it through the thickeners and add a suitable ...more
