BMO Nesbitt Burns downgraded Africa Oil to "market perform" from "outperform" and cut its price target to $2.60 (Canadian) from $5.
 
Industrial Alliance Securities downgraded Airboss of America to "buy" from "strong buy" but raised its price target to $16.50 (Canadian) from $15.
 
Needham & Co. downgraded Electronic Arts to "buy" from "strong buy" with a price target of $51 (U.S.).
 
Credit Suisse downgraded UPS to "neutral" from "outperform" and cut its price target to $102 (U.S.) from $112.

It would be nice to see Dundee's reasons. One can't assess a concluson without knowing the supporting logic. If Dundee thinks gas is going to average $1 , and oil $30 in 2015, then their conclusion may be reasonable for those who share those assumptions.

Every Analyst wants their tag on the board, not like downgrading an oil exploration co. is going to be that hard of a call, Everything in the sector has or is facing downgrade. I wouldn't be buying or selling based exclusively on their measures. Comparatively LRE has decent financials and spme good looking upside, and at  a buck and change this is a good play, even if you consider it ...more

If someone had the time it would be interesting to see who the analyst's firm works with. Did they get an upgrade? Did the company they want to buy get downgraded? Obviously, lots of money to be made on M&A in the oil patch right now. A little help positioning the buyer higher and the target lower can mean millions to these firms. So unless you can know absolutely what their motives are ...more

Yes, anything that causes a LEG downgrade should have a similar effect on LEG (unless its purely Nat gas related), thus this downgrade to LRE is likely deal related.
