seems like a small market cap 193 million for a company

with 36,000 barrels per day production and the land base and future growth potential of this company?    anyone disagree with my comment??

I couldnt agree more soundandfury, this shareprice is truely a gift. The only issue is how long and how much will LRE be punnished for this management team and/or debt? The market hates us plain and simple. Thats whats holding us back. The land package, reserves, and infastructure alone are worth 3.00-4.00/share. NAV has to be upwards to 6.00/share no? Not to mention producing oil of 35K/day ...more

Absolutely I agree, LRE will get through this. When this company first came across my radar a few weeks ago (before the dividend cut) I had to give my head a shake. Aside from the dept, this company is in very good position for the future. I didn't like the dividend because I thought the money could be better used paying down dept. Then they cut the dividend and I went cha-ching and decided to ...more

I agree; that is the same reason I entered LRE. With the dividend gone; LRE will address the present situation & address the future as a truly growth stock. The present events have forced LRE to change direction & for the better. High dividends from small & mid tier companies play out as "Ponzi" schemes becasue monies are squandered or borrowed (whether leveraging or share ...more

There are lots of folks who believe that paying a dividend limits the amount of damage management can do when they have a large amount of cash to manage. The Crocotta deal may have seemed like a reasonable move at the time but bad luck and a too aggressive business plan may be why LRE is trading at less than one dollar.
